Deep Purple and Friends!
I suppose you could say these were my first true music love... and the bands that got me into all things ROCK! Having fallen in love with the 'Made in Japan' live album, I then collected everything I could lay my hands on. Everything by Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Gillan, Rainbow and even as far as Dio and Elf! Dio was one of my first true rock concerts - at the legendary Glasgow Apollo before it was sadly demolished! I never had the pleasure of seeing Rainbow live on stage but did see the next best thing - Deep Purple with Jo Lynn Turner on vocals! ;-)Anyway, here are some of my 'Purple' highlights...
