Tzuke has taken a course of hypnotherapy to cure the stagefright that crippled her early live performances, hence these small gigs to promote current album Secret Agent. Still best known for her 1978 hit Stay With Me Till Dawn, Tzuke today eschews the rock ballad style in favour of funkier fare: her last album Under The Angels was playlisted by London dance station Kiss FM. Expect an emotionally intense evening of singer-songwriter material, with distinct hip hop influence in the beats. Tickets cost around £8, depending on venue. * * *
